About Me

Hi, my name is Isobel Quinn and I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working with people who are looking for a way to negotiate the tricky business of life. Through ThinkingLife Counselling, I offer private and confidential counselling to both adults and young people. I am also a COSCA accredited trainer teaching postgraduate students of CBT.

I work in in person in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow and I also offer video appointments. I have helped many people find the courage and determination to move towards the possibilities that change brings.

I have over twenty years experience in Secondary Education and during that time, I’ve supported young people aged 11–18 through the very real stresses of school life: friendships and social dynamics, academic pressure, exams, big transitions, and everything else in between. I also work with adults who may be navigating their own life challenges. Whether it’s stress, anxiety, relationships, work pressures, or simply feeling stuck, I will work with you to to explore what’s going on and find a way forward in a calm, supporting space.

I believe that everyone benefits from having a safe, non-judgemental place to talk, reflect, and build practical strategies for change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual because everyone’s experience is a little different.
