About Me

Hi, my name is Isobel Quinn and I’m a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist offering private, confidential counselling through ThinkingLife Counselling. I work with adults and young people who are looking for a way to better understand themselves and navigate the challenges life can bring.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of what’s going on and find a way forward together.

I have over 20 years’ experience in education, supporting young people aged 11–18 with the very real pressures of school life — including friendships, social dynamics, academic stress, exams, and major transitions. Alongside this, I work with adults facing a wide range of personal and professional challenges.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Using CBT, we’ll look at patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and develop practical strategies to help you feel more in control and move towards meaningful change.

I am also a COSCA-accredited CBT trainer at Diploma level, bringing depth of knowledge and experience into my therapeutic work.

I believe everyone benefits from having a safe, non-judgemental space to talk, reflect, and build the tools needed to live a more balanced and fulfilling life I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working with people who are looking for a way to negotiate the tricky business of life. Through ThinkingLife Counselling, I offer private and confidential counselling to both adults and young people. I am also a COSCA accredited trainer at Diploma level in CBT.
